In my new way of honouring myself I spoke my truth without fear of opinions or judgements of others. It was difficult not to revert to my old self. I confronted fears about being myself with everyone in my life, particularly those who were once close. Some relationships changed, some even ended. The remnants of my false self were released, bringing forward my vulnerability and innocence. I had to trust and expose this part of myself. Trusting my own instincts I no longer needed to empower others in my own decisions. The time had come to embrace my own wisdom. I had to take external controls and focus them within to finally be self-empowered. My synchronised life of allowance gifted me new insights. The dust settled on my new normal.Reviews:How do you create a new you after a monumental shake up? Most of us at some time in our life have had events or experiences where we choose. Choose to stay the same or choose to create the new normal. Rosie so eloquently expresses her daily journey with her beloved family, close friends and friends from afar. Rosie shows us that it’s not just us that changes - it’s helping those around us adapt to this new normal that has been created. This journey that Rosie took me on made me smile, laugh and cry while I travelled with her on this path. I couldn’t help but connect to what Rosie was experiencing and feel personally validated and inspired by her.Cathy (Torquay, Victoria)While reading this story I realised the walls I have built up around me over the years. Now I am going to take on a personal challenge to knock these walls down so I can be the person I want to be and not the person I am. Thank you Rosie. I felt like Rosie was telling me her story over a cuppa. Very easy to read, interesting and enlightening.Donna (Shepparton, Victoria)About the Author:Born in the late 1960s, Rosie grew to learn how to mask dysfunction. Living mostly in her head, Rosie thrived in the academic world of finance and business.Rosie’s bubble of reality burst just after the birth of her fourth son. A wave of postnatal depression debilitated her and forced her to look at the horrors of her sexually abusive childhood. Reeling from the blocked pain and memories, Rosie sought answers to who she was and how she had become a slave to the numbness required to survive. Each time she experienced a healing method that helped her, Rosie studied and became qualified in that field to then help others. She became a Bowen Therapist, Reiki and Seichem Master, Clinical Hypnotherapist using NLP methods, Journey worker and Intuitive Healer. Rosie’s connection to spirit as a medium and psychic was ignited.Once Rosie’s heart finally cracked open, her passion then flowed from her pen. Onto the many pages that followed she has shared her own self-discovery, always learning, living and loving towards a better version of self.
